COD Payments
Adding Items to Your Cart and Navigating the Checkout Process
Once you find the product you are interested in, click “Add to Cart” and you will be automatically redirected to the “cart” page. If you are not redirected, you can also click the “cart” icon at the top right of any page on the website. The “cart” page is a page where you can review your order, get estimated shipping costs, etc. If you want to continue shopping, you can choose to “continue shopping” via the link towards the top of the page. This will redirect you back to the “Wholesale Kratom Products” page. If you are ready to proceed with your order, click “Proceed to Checkout” at the top or bottom of the page. Be sure to fully fill in your shipping information AND billing information. If you do not do this, the payment methods/shipping options may not populate correctly.
We allow customers with an account to save multiple payment methods and shipping addresses to make it easier for future ordering. Make an account during the checkout process and you will not have to retype everything the next time you order! These payment methods and shipping addresses can be managed in your “Account” area.
Selecting Payment Methods and Shipping Options
Once you have proceeded to the checkout from the cart page, fill in all of your information completely. Depending on the device you are using, you may see shipping methods BEFORE the payment methods. Scroll down to the payment methods, select “Collect on Delivery (COD)” as your payment method and then the shipping methods will populate. There are extra shipping costs associated with COD payment methods, so be sure to double check the shipping costs before proceeding.
Verifying Shipping Information Before Placing Your Order
It is very important that all shipping information is entered properly before clicking “Place Order,” as this is where the shipment is going to be delivered to and where payment is going to be collected by your local USPS delivery driver. Once you have verified that your information is correct, scroll to the bottom of the checkout page and click “Place Order.” If you have not agreed to the Terms and Conditions, you will need to do this before you can proceed. There is a direct link to the Terms and Conditions for you to read through them before placing your order. We recommend reading through these if you are new to Kratom before placing an order this way you have a full understanding of what you are purchasing.
Order Confirmation and Payment Instructions
After you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions and clicked “Place Order,” you will be redirected to the Order Confirmation page. This page will have information involving the payment of your order. We will contact you via email, text, or phone call to tell you what the name of the business is that needs to be written on the check. The name on the bank account is not EZ Kratom, so please do not write that on the check. The name on the bank account will always be the same unless we say otherwise, so once we tell you the business name, you will not have to wait for us to tell you every single time. This is a one time ordeal.
Paying with a Cashier's Check or Money Order upon Delivery
Once USPS arrives at your door with the package, please provide them with the Cashier’s Check / Money Order payable to our business name that was provided after your order was placed (contact us if you have not received an email, text, or call about this yet) and the correct amount. The only time the amount owed will be different is if you pay the USPS delivery driver in cash. Otherwise, the amount should be the exact amount that was on the order when you placed it. If you pay cash, the USPS driver has to collect a couple extra dollars because USPS will turn your cash into a money order at their facility before they send it back to us.
COD Notes

Payment Collection for COD Orders:
When you place a COD order, that does not mean we have collected the payment. As mentioned in step #5 above, the payment is not collected until the package is delivered. If you want your payment to be collected automatically at checkout, please pay with a credit/debit card, or with an eCheck.

How to Pay Without Cash on Delivery:
If you are not paying with Cash when the driver arrives, you will need to visit a 7/11, USPS facility, Publix, Vons, or another store that will create a money order for you. Otherwise, you can go to your bank and get a Cashier’s Bank, but a lot of banks charge way more for a Cashier’s Check compared to a Money Order. Depending on the bank account you have, the bank may offer cheap, or even free Cashier’s Checks. Feel free to give your local branch a call to see what they charge you for Cashier’s Checks before going into there.

Avoid Leaving Checks or Money Orders Blank:
As noted above, please do not add “EZ Kratom” to the Cashier’s Check or Money Order. If you send a Money Order, you can leave it blank, but we do not recommend doing this, as anyone could write their name on it and cash it. We have received blank ones in the past, but it is not recommended to do this, as it could affect your potential to order COD in the future if we do not receive the payment back.

USPS is Our Exclusive COD Partner:
We only offer COD service through USPS at this time. FedEx stopped offering COD services due to the increased cost of collecting checks and sending them back to the shipper. We are not sure how long USPS will continue accepting COD, but as of January 2025, USPS is still offering COD service.

Order Shipping Cut-Off Times:
As with all other shipments, if you place an order AFTER 2 PM Eastern Time on a Friday, your order may not ship until Monday (or until the next non-federal holiday business day). If you place the order BEFORE 2 PM Eastern Time, your order will ship the same-day!

Filling in Your Information for a Smooth Checkout
Once you have proceeded to the checkout from the cart page, fill in all of your information completely. You must fill in the correct billing information that matches on the bank account you will be using for the eCheck. The shipping address can be whatever you would like, but the billing address must match the account you are drafting the eCheck from. Depending on the device you are using, you may see shipping methods BEFORE the payment methods. If your order is under $100, you will not be able to select the eCheck payment method. If your order is over $100, please select the eCheck payment method and double check your shipping method before proceeding to “Place Order.”
What You Need to Know About eChecks
eChecks are NOT physical checks. An eCheck is drafted over the internet and will be automatically removed from your bank account within 3-5 business days. You must make sure there is enough money in your account in order to draft the eCheck or your account will overdraft and you may incur fees when making the repayment to us before your next order. When you enter your Routing/Account number and billing information, the information is passed onto our eCheck company where they print a check on your behalf and deposit it to our business account. The check that they print is deposited electronically and never sent in the mail, so you do not have to worry about it ending up in the wrong hands. On top of that, it is printed with our business name on the check, so no one else would be able to deposit it anyway.
To touch base on #3 above, EZ Kratom pays yearly for an SSL certificate, as well as security plugins like Sucuri to protect our website and your information when being passed from one entity to the next. All information submitted through our website, whether that is the checkout or a newsletter submission, is protected by our SSL certificate and security plugins. You will know if a website does not have an SSL certificate as there will be a lock with a cross through it in the URL address bar at the top of your browser. Nowadays, in 2025, most browsers will give you a warning before you even enter a website with an SSL certificate.
Placing Your Order and Reviewing Terms
As with all other payment methods, once you have filled your information properly, double checked your shipping, etc. you may proceed to the bottom of the page and select “Place Order.” You will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions before clicking “Place Order.” However, do not simply “agree” to the Terms and Conditions just to place your order. We always recommend reading the Terms and Conditions for any website or company before doing business with them. There is a link on the checkout every single time you order for you to visit the Terms and Conditions to read through them.

The eCheck company stops processing eChecks the same-day at 2 PM Eastern Time as well, so that is why we have our cut off at 2 PM Eastern Time. We may be able to bend the rules for other payment methods, but unless you have ordered with us several times in the past, we are unable to bend the rules for eChecks due to their cut off time being 2 PM Eastern Time for same-day eCheck processing.
First Time eCheck Notes

First-Time eCheck Orders: 5-Day Hold Policy:
If you order via eCheck for the first time with EZ Kratom, your order is subject to a 5 business day hold. We started doing this back in 2017 due to the amount of eCheck fraud we were experiencing. Most Kratom companies, if not all Kratom companies, have since adopted this same policy due to the risk of fraud that we are exposed to. It is unfortunate that the few bad apples have to ruin it for everyone else, but once you have a history with us, we are able to ship orders the same-day.

Order Size Increases and Additional Holds:
If you have ordered with us previously, but you randomly increase your order size, your order will be subject to another 5 business day hold. As you can imagine, people will try to order a very small amount for their first eCheck thinking they will be able to increase their order on the second time and we will ship the same-day. We have dealt with this in the past and that is why we now reserve the right to hold your order for another 5 business days even if you have placed an order in the past. Generally, if you have a solid history with us here at EZ Kratom, we are pretty easy to work with. You can always call us, email us, text us if you are planning on increasing your order by a large amount to see if we are able to ship the entire order for you without being subject to another 5 business day hold.

When Your 5-Day Hold Begins:
If you place an order BEFORE 2 PM Eastern Time, your 1st business day hold will begin the same-day. If you place your order AFTER 2 PM Eastern Time, your 1st business day hold WILL NOT begin until the following non-federal holiday day. For a quick example: If you place an order on a Friday BEFORE 2 PM Eastern Time, your first business day of the 5 day holding period would be that same day. However, if you place the order after 2 PM Eastern Time on a Friday, the first day of your 5 business day hold would not be until the following Monday, or the next non-federal holiday business day. This can make first time eCheck orders feel like they are taking forever if you happen to place it on a Friday after 2 PM Eastern Time, so we recommend getting the order in as soon as possible in the day to ensure we are able to ship it as soon as possible.

FedEx Orders Still Subject to Holds:
If you do not have a history with us and you place an order via FedEx Overnight or FedEx 2-day, your order will still be held until the eCheck clears. If you want your order quickly, we recommend ordering with a credit/debit card, or using USPS COD.

Bounced Checks and Responsibility:
Any checks that bounce are subject to being redeposited without prior notice. If you incur multiple bounced check fees, we do not repay these to you. It is your responsibility to keep funds in your bank account when the order is placed.

Bank Processing Times for eChecks:
Finally, all banks are different. Some banks process eChecks in 3 business days, while others may take 5 business days. If we are able to get your eCheck order out faster than 5 business days, we will do so. It all depends on your bank and our bank at the current time. We keep an eye on every eCheck order that comes through to make sure it has cleared and the moment we see it has cleared, your order will be shipped.

Selecting "Mail Us a Money Order/Cashier's Check" at Checkout
Once you have reached the checkout page, please be sure to fill in all of your information correctly. Once you have done this, scroll down and select “Mail Us a Money Order/Cashier’s Check” as your payment method. This is generally the last payment method in the “payment methods” list.
Placing Your Order: Review and Agree to Terms
After double checking all your information, scroll down to “Place Order” and make sure to read the Terms and Conditions, as well as agree to them, before clicking “Place Order.” If it is your first time purchasing Kratom, or purchasing from us, we recommend reading through the Terms and Conditions with the link provided at checkout before agreeing and placing your order.
Payment Instructions for Money Orders and Cashier's Checks
When your order is placed, the order will be placed “On Hold” in our system. From here, you will need to send us a Cashier’s Check or Money Order. If you have a history with us, we may accept a personal check, but with the risk of personal checks bouncing, we generally do not accept them. It is important that you write the correct business name on the check before mailing it out. Please do not write “EZ Kratom.” The “confirmation page” will tell you what name to put on the check, or we will reach out to you and tell you which name to put on the check. If you want to speed the process up, you are more than welcome to contact us and ask for the business name that needs to be provided on the check.
Order Processing After Payment is Received
Once we receive the payment in the mail, we will deposit the check and ship your order out immediately. We recommend shipping your check with USPS First Class tracking, as this is the cheapest shipping method possible that also provides tracking information. This way you do not have to worry about your check getting lost in the mail somewhere. Otherwise, if you send it with a stamp, we will be on the lookout for it, but we cannot guarantee when it will show up. The moment we receive it, we will deposit it and ship your order immediately.
